Jessica began her racing career at the age of 13 racing Outlaw
Dirt Karts in northern California. Throughout the 2002, 2003 and
2004 seasons, Jessica traveled to races in Nevada, Oregon,
Idaho, Iowa, and Missouri. She has several feature wins and
holds the track record for The ‘Got Milk’ Fall Nationals in
Hartville, Missouri and at The Yuba City Fairgrounds in Yuba
City, California.
Jessica made the move to 360 asphalt sprints in 2005 where
she competed in the CASA (California Asphalt Sprintcar
Association) series and select USAC (United States Auto Club)
events. She completed her season with six top-five and thirteen
top-ten finishes, and finished fifth of thirty-four competitors in the
point standings.
In October of 2005, Jessica was among 18 drivers selected
from over 300 applicants to compete in The Drive for Diversity
combine at South Boston Speedway in Virginia. She impressed
the notables at the combine with her driving and signed with
Hispanic car owner, NHRA icon, Frank Pedregon. Jessica was
one of only 8 drivers selected to run a Late Model Stock Car in
the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series for the 2006 season as a
Drive for Diversity development driver.
Early 2006 found Jessica competing on the west coast at
Irwindale Speedway. In latter May, she moved to North Carolina
where she is currently racing at Ace Motor Speedway. The
transition from high-powered, lightweight, open-wheeled cars to
heavy stock cars continues to be an exciting challenge and one
where Jessica shows great promise and continues to shine on
the track.
